DEVELOPMENT & ALUMNI OFFICE

The School works very closely with the Executive Officers of the Edward Alleyn Club. Alleyn's greatly values its links with all former pupils, which are maintained through the School's Development & Alumni Office and through events at the School, at Burbage Road and regionally around the country. The Development & Alumni Office acts as the adminstrative hub of the Edward Alleyn Club and co-ordinates reunions, Edward Alleyn Club events and communication with former pupils. In addition, it works closely with current and former parents via the Alleyn's Association. The role of the Development Office is to support the continued advancement of Alleyn's as a leading academic school, the ‘best' co-educational day school in the UK offering "Co-educational excellence for all, in a caring, friendly, tolerant community."
Reunions are held at both the School and at the Clubhouse. In addition, last November we held a Midlands reunion to see Twelfth Night at the RSC in Stratford, and we also launched our Memories Day reunion series in March with a reunion of AOBs who were at Alleyn's in the 1930s.
The Edward Alleyn Club Magazine, edited by Susie Schofield, Head of Alumni Relations, is produced twice a year and sent to over 5,000 members world-wide. Alumni e-bulletins are sent out each term to all those members for whom the Club has an email address. Martha Jones, Development Office Assistant, has chief responsibility for maintaining our relationship database and this website and David Young, Director of Development and Finance, leads the Office.
The School is always pleased to welcome AOBs and AOGs back to School or to help put them in touch with old friends and comrades.
