Football at Edward Alleyn Club

Alleyn Old Boys FC (AOBFC) is based at the clubhouse in Burbage Road, Dulwich, and offers a full football programme to past pupils of Alleyn's and Dulwich College as well as players from the local Dulwich community.

The club is a member of the Southern Amateur Football League and fields six teams in league and cup competitions playing on Saturday afternoons from September through to April. We also field a veterans team who play on Sunday mornings with a full programme of friendly fixtures as well as competing in the AFA Veterans Cup.

We train on Saturdays and Tuesdays during the close season with training held at the clubhouse in Burbage Road from Saturday 19 July through to September with sessions starting at 10.30am on Saturdays and 6.30pm on Tuesdays. During the season the training moves to Alleyns School where it is held on Tuesday evening.

New members - including ex-pupils of the school, their friends and would-be players living in and around the Dulwich area - are always welcome and should contact our membership secretary (details below) for additional details or should come along to training sessions. Our membership fees are reasonable and we offer discounted rates for those players still at the school or in further education. The atmosphere is friendly and we welcome players of all standards.

The Edward Alleyn Club clubhouse in Burbage Road is the centre of the AOBFC's activities providing a friendly, sociable venue for players, supporters and friends to gather before and after matches. The AOBFC organises a full programme of social events throughout the year in the clubhouse.
